Course Description
This class will explore the use of Applied Kinesiology
(AK) in stress reduction, goal setting and improving mental
focus; assess the stability of the pelvic muscles, knee
muscles, thigh and lower leg muscles and how to approach
their treatment in injuries, primary strains and sprains;
use of nutrition in sports and related injuries; explore
effects of long term and short term inactivity on the overall
health of the body, focusing primarily on the lower body
physically and studying the effects of this inactivity on
a person’s ability to keep their stress levels under
control. How to incorporate these techniques in a massage-type
practice.
