Program Overview

The 1000 Clock Hour Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) Program is designed to produce well balanced therapists that are prepared to interface with adjunct healthcare professionals and be of service to the community. Students may enroll directly into the 1000 hour program, take the 700 hour core courses and continue with an additional 300 hours of advanced training courses. Graduates of the 700 hour program may transfer their completed hours into the 1000 hour program then select 300 unduplicated hours from the advanced training programs and/or individual course listings.

 Program Objectives

• Train massage therapists for entry level employment in specialized fields of massage therapy.
• Proficiency and competency in specific areas of study.
• Mastery of advanced bodywork techniques while working with specific populations.

Completion

• Upon completion of an additional 300 hours of training, students will receive a 1000 Hour certificate in massage therapy training.
• Completion: 18 months (maximum)

Definitions

• Full Time Student is one who is taking a minimum of 12 quarter credits.
• Academic Year is a minimum of 30 weeks or 36 quarter credits.
